Shrine Workshop

Shrine Workshop  2.30 -4.45 pm, 25th January 
 

 

Do you feel curious, nervous or excited about arranging the shrine?  Do you want to know more?  Come and join us and explore your ideas in a ‘hands on’ workshop. 

 

 

It will be suitable for everyone and Anne, Kamalajoti and Vajrahridaya will be there to support and guide you.

 

There’s no right or wrong, just different ways of doing things.  This is a chance to enjoy yourself and increase your confidence. 

-          Everyone will have an opportunity to build and arrange their own shrine. 

-          Other possibilities include building a large co-operative shrine on the end wall. 

-          Or arranging the large shrine. 

-          We will salute the shrine, meditate and explore ways of shrine building and arranging in a mindful way. 

-           We will close the workshop with a meditation using the shrines we have built.

 

So please start collecting and bring items to build a personal shrine including:

-          boxes big and small,

-          cloth

-          a rupa or figure

-          flowers

-          small vases

-          tiny candlesticks  and candles

-          any other personal items you wish to use

 

We will supply:

-          our rupa, lots of cloth, large vases, candle sticks and candles and some spare boxes

 

 

 

Tea and coffee are provided.
