Wesak is a celebration of of the quest for for truth by a human being just like you and me…this person penetrated reality and became the Buddha, the Enlightened One. On this Festival daywe’ll explore this mysterious occasion by reading from Buddhist texts that describe the Buddha’s experience, meditating, doing puja and hearing from Kalyanavaca who has recently visited the Bodhi Tree where all this took place 2,500 years ago!!
It’s a great way to come together as a sangha and share our appreciation of one another and our great fortune in finding the Dharma.
