Meditation Taster sessions (Cost: £10/7 concession) Booking information below
Short taster sessions in meditation ran as part of the Edinburgh Festival Fringe programme. People attending the workshop will have the option of either meditating on chairs or on cushions on the floor. Some instruction on posture will be given. The main practice we teach involves focusing on the breath to help develop concentration and general awareness of body and mind. We will also make suggestions to encourage healthy emotions such as kindness and contentment. The participants should feel some immediate benefits in calmness, clarity and a more confident perspective and should also be able to practice the simple methods by themselves in the future.
