Right Livelihood Businesses

Right Livelihood is a limb of the Buddha’s Noble Eightfold Path. The Buddha encouraged his disciples to make their living in a way that does not cause harm and ideally that is ethically positive. Some members of our Sangha have set up Right Livelihood businesses that may interest you.

The New Leaf

Friendly, vegetarian and organic, the New Leaf shop is run by a team of Buddhist friends and volunteers as an expression of the Buddhist principle of ethical livelihood. Just ten minutes walk from the Buddhist Centre; we are situated just south of the Meadows at 23 Argyle Place.
